Tigard town halls to discuss sidewalks, marijuana, Southwest Corridor and recreation center


Tigard City Councilors have finalized dates for upcoming town hall meetings to talk about sidewalks, marijuana, Southwest Corridor and recreation center in the city. 

Each councilor is hosting his own town hall for residents to voice their thoughts and opinions about the topics. 

Councilor Marc Woodard

Date: Tuesday, March 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: City Hall Town Hall, 13125 SW Hall Blvd. 

Councilor John Goodhouse 

Date: Tuesday, March 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Symposium Coffee Huddle Room, 12345 S.W. Main St.

Mayor John Cook – Fireside Chat

Date: Thursday, April 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Symposium Coffee, 12345 S.W. Main St.

Councilor Jason Snider *

Date: Wednesday, April 8 at 8 p.m.
Location: Durham Elementary PSO meeting, 7980 S.W. Durham Road
*not part of the sign-up list since PSO & parent attendees fill the 10 slots

Councilor Marland Henderson – Listening Post *

Date: Thursday, April 9 at 5:30 p.m.
Location: Hudson Plaza, 12950 S.W. Pacific Hwy. 
* Councilor Henderson will focus solely on marijuana

Residents can sign up online. Space is allotted for 10 people, but City Manager Marty Wine said more are welcome to attend.
